The ExCeL centre is in Custom House, east London. The little-used London City Airport is five minutes away by taxi.

Arms dealers will be arriving by car and by Docklands Light Railway. 'Custom House for ExCeL' DLR is connected by a short walkway to the west entrance, and Prince Regent DLR is very near the east entrance.

Tube & Rail

The Jubilee line at Canning Town is a 15 minute walk or 3-minute DLR journey from ExCeL. The DLR is also connected to the Central, Northern, Circle, District and Waterloo & City lines at Bank and the Circle and District lines at Tower Hill.

ExCeL is in Zone 3 and London Underground tickets are valid on the DLR.

The Silverlink train service operates between Richmond to North Woolwich via Kew, Acton, Willesden, Hampstead, Homerton, Stratford and Custom House for ExCeL. Silverlink Metro +44(0)20 7222 1234

Waterloo International Station is the terminus for Channel Tunnel high-speed rail services. From Waterloo, take the Jubilee line to Canning Town and change to the 2 minute DLR journey to ExCeL.

Road

Road access is from Tower Bridge or from Central London via the Limehouse Link. From outside London, access is via the M25, A13, M11, A406 (North Circular), the Blackwall Tunnel and Rotherhithe Tunnel. For the arms dealers, there are 4,600 parking spaces.

General London Transport info

Public transport in London works on zones - the centre is zone one, the most expensive zone. Other zones are concentric, out to zone six.

A one day pass for all public transport, zones one to four, costs £4.50, or £7 to start before 0930.

We recommend that you get hold of a map of London, if you don't have one, and familiarize yourself with the area around EXCEL.
